On Tuesday March 18 2008 at the Community Campus in Hailey, the Wood River Legacy Project held a meeting concerning new laws aimed at assisting water flows in the Big Wood River and Silver Creek through a system of water banking. In short, water right holders are now able to donate water rights back to the river system without loosing their rights.
